I am an applied microeconometrician specialising in health and human capital.
I am currently an Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at the Department of Economic Analysis: Economic Theory and Economic History at (UAM), Spain; a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University, UK; a Research Fellow at IZA; an Affiliate of HEDG; and a Fellow at Advanced HE.
Previously, I have been a Tomás y Valiente Fellow at the Madrid Institute for Advanced Study; a Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University, UK; and and a post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics, University of York, UK.
I hold a PhD in Economics awarded by the University of York, UK.

I am the local organiser of the 14th Workshop on the Economics of Risky Behavior, which will be held in Madrid between 11-12 June 2025 at Fundación Ramón Areces.
I am the co-organiser of the 2nd of UAM-UJI Workshop on the Economics of Health and Human Capital, which will be held in Castellón de la Plana on the 20th of June 2025.
