I am an Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at the Department of Economic Analysis: Economic Theory and Economic History at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain.

I am an Associate Editor of Value in Health - Regional issues, a journal of ISPOR - The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research.

I am a Visiting Researcher at Lancaster University, UK; a Research Fellow at IZA; a Faculty Associate at CCHE; an Affiliate of HEDG; a honorary member of the Health Economics at Lancaster (HEAL) Research Group; a Fellow at Advanced HE; and an Adjunct Professor at IE University.

Previously, I have been a Tomás y Valiente Fellow at the Madrid Institute for Advanced Study (MIAS); a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor with tenure) in Health Economics at Lancaster University, UK, and a post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Economics, University of York, UK. 

I hold a PhD in Economics awarded by the University of York, UK.
