Manuel F. Dolz, Ph.D.

Manuel F. Dolz received his Ph.D. in Advanced Computer Systems from the Universitat Jaume I (Spain) in 2014. Currently, he is a distinguished researcher at the same university. During his career, he worked as a pre and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hamburg and University of Carlos III Madrid (UC3M) for the EU projects Exa2Green and RePhrase, respectively. Manuel has participated in other R+D+i projects at national and regional levels. Manuel has received different competitive postdoctoral grants from the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Juan de la Cierva Formación) and was selected in 2018 and 2022 as a distinguished researcher by the Generalitat Valenciana within the Plan Gen-T. His main research interests are parallel programming environments, energy efficiency, and deep learning in high-performance parallel computing architectures. He collaborates with national universities (Technical University of Valencia and UC3M) and international institutions (Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum-University of Hamburg, Germany, and École Normale Supériere, Lyon, France). Manuel has participated in different international conferences and workshops program committees and acted as a reviewer in international conferences and journals with impact factor JCR, such as Journal of Parallel Computing, Journal of Supercomputing, IEEE Access and Future Generation of Computer Systems. In total, he has published more than 85 articles in conferences and national and international journals, 35 of them indexed in JCR.
