Manuel F. Dolz received his Ph.D. in Advanced Computer Systems from Universitat Jaume I (Spain) in 2014 and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the same university. During his career, he has worked as a predoctoral and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hamburg and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), participating in the EU-funded projects Exa2Green and RePhrase, respectively, and has also been involved in several national and regional R+D+i projects. He has received competitive postdoctoral grants from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (Juan de la Cierva–Formación) and was selected as a Distinguished Researcher by the Generalitat Valenciana within the Plan Gen-T in 2018 and 2022. His research interests focus on parallel programming environments, energy efficiency, and deep learning on high-performance parallel computing architectures. He collaborates with national institutions such as the Universitat Politècnica de València and UC3M, as well as international partners including the Deutsches Klimarechenzentrum–University of Hamburg (Germany) and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (France). He has served on program committees of international conferences and workshops and acted as a reviewer for JCR-indexed journals such as Parallel Computing, The Journal of Supercomputing, IEEE Access, and Future Generation Computer Systems. Overall, he has authored more than 100 publications in national and international conferences and journals, 37 of which are indexed in JCR.
