Crafted for Creativity:
The Fine Art Programme at UiTM is designed to develop creative, reflective, and competent graduates who are capable of producing meaningful visual artworks across traditional and contemporary media.

Students are encouraged to explore ideas, narratives, and cultural contexts while building strong technical skills and professional artistic practices.

This programme focuses on advanced studio practice, conceptual development, and reflective artistic research. Students are guided to develop professional portfolios, conduct creative research, and explore art within cultural and community contexts.

Minimum Entry Requirement (STPM)

Applicants with STPM must fulfil the following:

• Passed STPM, AND

• CGPA 2.00 and above, AND

• Passed Bahasa Melayu at SPM level

Applicants may be required to attend an interview and/or portfolio review, subject to UiTM’s admission requirements.

This is a studio-based program designed to build strong foundations in visual skills, artistic concepts, and aesthetic understanding. The program emphasizes the development of creative processes through hands-on studio practices, enabling students to explore and refine their visual expression. Through structured studio exploration and conceptual engagement, the program prepares students with the essential skills and knowledge required for further studies at the degree level in the field of fine art.

Minimum Entry Requirement

Applicants must fulfil ONE of the following:

• SPM / equivalent with:

• Pass in Bahasa Melayu, AND

• At least 3 credits in any subjects

• OR Sijil / SKM Level 3 (relevant field) recognised by UiTM

• OR Other equivalent qualifications approved by UiTM

Foundation in Art Courses - Drawings / Visual Research Study / Colour Theory
