The Office of Research and Innovation at the College of Computing, Informatics & Mathematics was established to oversee and facilitate research, publication, and innovation activities among faculty members and students. Our mission is to realize UiTM's vision of becoming a leading university grounded in academic excellence, driving Bumiputera dynamism across various world-class professional domains. We aim to produce competitive, globally aware, ethical graduates while enhancing Bumiputera knowledge and expertise across all fields through the delivery of professional programs, research, and community engagement rooted in core values and professional ethics. 


Furthermore, the Office of Research and Innovation aspires to embody the Vision and Mission of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's Office (Research and Innovation) at UiTM, striving to be an excellent management center for world-class research management, development, consultancy, and publication. Our objective is to elevate the university's scholastic, creative, and innovative capabilities through top-tier services and to be a superb management center for world-class research management, development, consultancy, and publication.

Go 4 Scopus Workshop 

Discover the highlights from the 'Go 4 Scopus Workshop' held on the 25th October 2023, a recent event organized by UiTM College of Computing, Informatics, and Mathematics. Our sincere gratitude to Prof Madya Yong Soon Kong (Head of the Ethics and Publication Unit),  for sharing invaluable insights during the workshop. 

Erasmus Info Day Event 

Erasmus Info Day Educational Talk Events took place on November 3rd, 2023, organized by our department (Research & Innovation). Speakers included Prof Ts Dr Ling Siew Eng, Associate Prof. Dr Norjansalika Janom, and Freddy Loo. Topics covered educational programs under the ERASMUS project, KPPIM Master's Programs, and IR4.0. The event was held at Dewan Al Ghazali, UiTM Shah Alam 

Publication Clinic, School of Information Science, Mathematical Science and Computing Science

The Publication Clinic was conducted for the School of Information Science, Mathematical Science, and Computer Science on March 6, 2024, and March 7, 2024. The clinic focused on techniques and deeper knowledge about publishing in each of the majors. It was conducted in three places according to their respective sessions. It is located in the Main Meeting Room, Puncak Perdana Campus, Main Meeting Room, CS1, Al-Khawarizmi Complex, KPPIM and Smart Classroom, CS2, Al-Khawarizmi Complex, KPPIM.
