Heparin is a blood -thinning drug that prevents blood from clotting. It is used to prevent blood clots in the veins, arteries and lungs. These blood clots can block blood flow to important organs in the body and cause blood flow to be disrupted.

A mother, after cesarean delivery (C-section) need to take heparin to avoid blood clotting. She needs to do the injection by herself either on her thigh or abdomen. Besides confinement, heparin is another horrible experience to the mother.

For that reason, the artwork was produced on a black background to depict black memories on behalf of the mother during the heparin moment.
