This book has been purposefully developed as a teaching and learning resource to assist dietetics students in consolidating their knowledge and skills prior to undertaking their clinical placements in hospitals. It serves as a structured introductory guide that bridges classroom-based learning with real-world clinical practice, enabling students to strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, and the practical application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP).

Case Study in Nutrition & Dietetics

The objective of this case study book is to enhance students’ understanding of nutrition assessment and basic knowledge of dietetics interventions, equipping them with the essential skills and critical thinking necessary for clinical settings and attachments.

Each case study is thoughtfully designed to bridge theoretical learning with real-world applications, ensuring that students are better prepared to face the challenges of clinical training.
