Industrial Design | Automotive Design | Design Aesthetics & Perception
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that design education must empower students to think critically, create responsibly, and innovate meaningfully. As an educator with over two decades of experience in Industrial and Automotive Design across teaching, supervision, research, and academic leadership. I view the classroom and studio as transformative spaces where learners develop not only technical competence but also intellectual maturity and ethical awareness.
My teaching philosophy reflects my commitment to moulding future designers and researchers who are not only skilled but also thoughtful, ethical, and visionary. By integrating experiential learning, research rigour, industry collaboration, and reflective practice, I aim to create a learning environment that inspires creativity, fosters innovation, and contributes to the advancement of industrial design education in Malaysia and beyond.
