Mr. Jose C. Martinez is a graduate of Roma High School Class of 2019. Mr. Martinez received his Bachelor of Music degree with an EC-12 Teaching Certification for Education from The University of Houston in 2023. During his time at the University of Houston, Mr. Martinez was a part of the Symphonic Winds, Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra which he performed with at the T.M.E.A. Convention in 2022. Mr. Martinez also served as the Vice-President for Phi Mu Alpha Omicron Upsilon chapter, and was a Drum Major for the Spirit of Houston in Fall 2022.

Mr. Martinez is thrilled to begin his teaching career and grow alongside the John B. Alexander High School Band program to ensure the successes that have been established before him.
