The Unified Internship Program (UIP) was established in 2010 as part of the Alternative Learning System (ALS). Initially, it functioned as an Internship Program, facilitating placements for graduating students in available companies. However, the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the mobilization of internships for students and educational institutions across our country. Despite these challenges,
UIP successfully adapted by shifting its focus to remote learning, enabling students to fulfill their degree requirements. This transition allowed us to restore a sense of normalcy for our Partner Institutions and provided interns with meaningful teaching and learning experiences.
Presently, UIP operates as a nonprofit organization led by dedicated professionals who share a common goal. Our primary objective is to address the specific needs and demands of the program. To achieve this, we provide various internship setups including onsite, hybrid, and work-from-home options. By leveraging the power of the internet, we facilitate online connections and enable distance learning, ensuring that we meet the essential requirements of the organizations we serve.
Our office is currently located at 2nd Floor Room 203C, E&V Building, 1039 Quirino Highway corner Dumalay Street, Brgy. Sta. Monica, Novaliches, Quezon City, 5th District, National Capital Region, 1123.
