Dr. Muhammad Irwan Padli Nasution, ST, MM, M.Kom once again received International recognition, namely as the International Mentor of AIS Senior Scholar Mentorship.  Dr. Muhammad Irwan Padli Nasution, received an official e-mail from Prof. Waifong BOH (President's Chair in Information Systems, Deputy Dean, Nanyang Business School, Senior Editor, MIS Quarterly, Director of Information Management Research Center at NBS, co-Director for Singapore Agri-Food Innovation Lab (SAIL), co-Director for NTU Center in Computational Technologies for Finance (CCTF), 50 Nanyang Avenue, S3-01A-32, Singapore 639798.) In the official letter from Prof. Waifong BOH, dated May 13, 2023, He delegated authority to Dr. Muhammad Irwan Padli Nasution, ST, MM, M.Kom as Mentor to Mentee Dr. Rosetta Romano (Lecturer from the University of Canberra, Australia), as figure 1, Mr. Muhammad Irwan Padli Nasution is having a virtual discussion with Ms. Rosetta Romano.

The Senior Scholars Consortium was first discussed during ICIS 2003 in Seattle by a steering committee that comprised Izak Benbasat, Niels Bjørn-Andersen, Mike Ginzberg, Blake Ives, Elena Karahanna, Kalle Lyytinen, Carol Saunders, Ron Weber and Bob Zmud. The first meeting of the consortium was held during ICIS 2004 in Washington DC, at the instigation of Rick Watson (co-conference chair). Every year since, the Senior Scholars have sponsored a panel session at ICIS (open to all) and held an (invitation only) meeting of the senior scholars themselves in conjunction with ICIS.

The primary purpose of the AIS College of Senior Scholars (CSS) is to provide a forum for senior scholars to discuss and sometimes take action on important issues that are affecting (or will affect) the IS discipline. Topics for discussion have included the domain of the IS discipline, how the number of A* (high quality) publications published by the IS community as a whole might be increased, and the current state of IS departments around the world. CSS working groups have undertaken evaluations of a variety of topics including the quality and timeliness of reviews at IS journals. In 2007, the CSS also created a basket of six premier journals. This was updated in 2011, (with the addition of two more journals) and in 2023 (when a further three journals were added and the name was changed to the CSS List of Premier Journals). The intention of the CSS in creating the list of premier journals was to provide more consistency in tenure and promotion cases. As many of the senior scholars have the ability to influence deans, promotion committees and other colleagues, the CSS hopes that it can play a positive role both within and beyond the IS field. The Association for Information Systems (AIS) serves society through the advancement of knowledge and the promotion of excellence in the practice and study of information systems. AIS is the premier professional association for individuals and organizations who lead the research, teaching, practice, and study of information systems worldwide.

Since March 2019, he has been a regular reviewer for the Informing Science Institute, Journal of Information Technology Education: Research (SCOPUS Q1)

Scopus announced the 2022 impact factor (CiteScore), a comprehensive index encompassing 44,000 scientific journals across diverse disciplines worldwide. 'Comunicar' has achieved an exceptional milestone by securing the 1st position globally in Scopus within the field of Cultural Studies. This remarkable feat places us ahead of 1,203 journals indexed in this expansive discipline and surpasses the previous leader of the past decade. https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/5700164380
