A Sprinternship is a 3-week, paid, immersive experience where you work directly with a company on a real-world tech project to solve meaningful challenges.
Participants collaborate in small teams to research, design, and present a solution to a challenge provided by their company partner. Along the way, students gain hands-on experience, learn about professional workflows, and connect with industry professionals.
By participating in a Sprinternship, students will:
Work on a real technology challenge provided by a company partner
Develop teamwork and collaboration skills in a small project group
Learn how businesses apply technology to solve problems
Gain exposure to company culture and industry professionals
Build confidence presenting a final solution to stakeholders
Sprinternships run for three weeks, this year May 11th - May 29th.
Students work 40 hrs/week full-time during the program period.
Participants are placed with a host company partner.
Students collaborate in teams of approximately 5 Sprinterns
Each team works on a Challenge Project assigned by the company
Depending on the host organization, the experience may be in-person, hybrid, or remote
Address a business problem chosen by your company host using technology. Each company will come up with a question that you can problem solve from start to finish in 3 weeks.
Work together with fellow Sprinterns to brainstorm ideas, divide tasks, and build a solution as a team all while receiving guidance and support from company mentors and supervisors throughout the experience.

"I completed my Sprinternship at Google Cloud in May 2025, and it gave me valuable exposure to the tech industry while helping me feel much more confident and comfortable in spaces like this. I truly do not think I would have built the network I have today without that experience. Having my Sprinternship on my resume also opened the door to several other opportunities, including landing a full-time summer internship at 84.51° this summer. I’m incredibly grateful for my Sprintership experience and how much it has shaped my growth, both personally and professionally!"

"I completed my Sprinternship at Google in May 2024. It was an amazing experience collaborating with my team to tackle a real challenge and build a working solution in just three weeks. The fast-paced environment made the project both exciting and rewarding, and it was incredibly satisfying to see our ideas come together into a final outcome."
