The classes will be held via ZOOM (the invitation is sent by email and is accessible via Blackboard)
Participation in classes is expected. It counts for 10% of the final score.
Recordings of the Zoom classes will be available via Blackboard. Notes from the class will be accessible at this folder.
Students may and are encouraged to discuss homework problems and work in groups. However they should write up the solutions individually. No collaboration is allowed for the Take-home exams.
The grading will be based on participation (10%), weekly homework (30%), midterms 1 +2 (20%+20%), and a final (20%).
The format for the midterm and the final is to be determined, but is likely to be a take-home exam.
Midterm I (take-home format) is due Friday, February 26.
Midterm II (take-home format) is due Friday, April 9.
