On behalf of the HemAd Board, we welcome you! We would love to recruit you to be a blood donor and/or board member for our org. At the moment, our primary objective is to increase recruitment for blood donation, particularly among us medical students, a population of mostly young and healthy individuals! Given the shortage of blood products in hospitals, this is one of the real ways we can help our patients, in addition to continuing our medical education. As we continue to expand, we hope to increase our presence on campus with talks on Hematology by faculty, students, and patients about everything hematology!

- Spread awareness about hematological conditions
- Increase recruitment for blood donation
- Inform medical students of current events regarding hematologic diseases (i.e. changes in policies, new bills being passed)
- Providing a better understanding of the patient perspective of hematologic diseases
- Providing opportunities for students interested in Heme/Onc in advocacy, service and patient experiences
