Hola, ¿qué tal va todo?

I am Daniel Ibaibarriaga, a first-year graduate student at the University of Illinois Chicago. My main research interest lies in Mathematical Logic, especially Model Theory. However, I enjoy mathematics broadly and also like reading about topics in Combinatorics and Algebraic Geometry.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the Complutense University of Madrid and my Master’s degree at the University of Bonn, Germany.

For those who are curious, my surname comes from the Basque Country, where my family originates. I am also a big FC Barcelona supporter and really enjoy watching and discussing movies and cinema in general. Oh, and the wonderful woman from the photo is my beloved grandmother.
