Your Department's DFW Rate

Setup

• Create a web page for HW 13 on your website.

• Use the UIC Grades dataset from the course website.

Question to Answer

Imagine that your department head wants to know how the DFW rate in your department compares to the rest of the university.  Answer this question on your HW 13 page using either Pivot Tables or ChatGPT to help you. Explain any assumptions you made so that your results are as meaningful as possible. 

Hints: 

1. First create your own DFW rate column and use a formula to fill in the values.

2. DFW rates for tiny classes are not helpful.

3. If using a Pivot Table:

   1. In the Pivot Table rows section put department name and select the option to sort by your created DFW rate column. 

   2. In values put your created DFW rate. (Don't try to put DFW rate into columns)
