I am a lucky graduate of both Union Hill and Nevada Union. Following high school, I attended Dominican University of California in San Rafael and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in English Literature and in History with a minor in Art History. I continued at Dominican and received credentials in English and in Social Science. In 2009, I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with a Masters in Education (emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction). In 2013, I added a supplemental credential in art. From 2021-2023, I worked as a Teacher on Special ASsignment at Nevada County Superintendent of Schools supporting the CalHOPE Student Support Program for social and emotional learning. This is my twentieth year at Union Hill, and I love being both a Bearcat alumna and teacher.
My husband is also a Union Hill graduate, a veteran of the Army Rangers, and a IS analyst. Our life right now revolves around our family - our two Bearcat children and our two crazy hound dogs.
