Welcome to Mr. Dummett's 7th and 8th grade class at Union Hill School in Grass Valley, California. I hope this website helps increase communication and helps you understand the goals for our students and keep up with what is happening in our classroom. I am very excited to get to know your child and help them grow as a student and person.

I have over 20 years of experience teaching middle school science. I graduated from Humboldt State University in 1994 with a degree in Environmental Biology. I also received my teaching certificate from Humboldt State.

I love living and working in Grass Valley and am proud to be a part of the Bearcat family at Union Hill School. In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, mountain biking, music, and traveling.
