Vocal Ensemble

5th - 8th Grade Only

Union Hill Vocal Ensemble is open to all students 5th thru 8th grade and requires no previous experience reading music or singing in a choir. Performances of the Vocal Ensemble would include December’s Winter Concert, March’s Pops Concert, and the Spring Concert in May, with an additional opportunity to sing at Grass Valley’s Cornish Christmas in December. We look forward to helping your student become a young musician and open up a whole new world of possibilities!

Beginning Band

5th - 8th Grade Only

Beginning Band is open to all 5th-8th grade students. No previous experience is required. Students will get to try out the instrument that appeals to them! Enjoy time being with your friends while learning to read music and play a musical instrument or your choice. You can choose from:

• Woodwinds Instruments~ flutes, clarinets, saxophones (Mondays)

• Brass & String Instruments~ trumpets, trombones, baritones, tubas, guitar (Tuesdays)

• Keys & Percussion Instruments~ xylophones, drums (Thursdays)

• All Instruments~ (Fridays)
