Second grade is in the process of doing a P.E. rotation where each class will spend one week with a second grade teacher learning how to play activities that are open at recess. Our goal is to have all second graders playing by the same rules and gaining experience and interest in various activities on our blacktop. Students will learn how to play the following:
4 Square
Basketball Skills
Tetherball
Hop Scotch and Hoola Hooping
Weds., Sept. 22- Early Release (12:30 p.m)
Fri., Sept. 24- Library DON’T FORGET TO RETURN YOUR BOOKS

With each new story in our anthology, your child will be bringing home Blend-it books that support the weekly phonics and high frequency words. Please keep these books at home in a safe place to access for reinforcement; rereading these can be part of your child’s 20 minutes of reading.
