THE OUTDOOR MUSEUM AS A MUSEUM WALKING PARK

The Open Air Museum is open daily from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. as a free walking park. There is a fixed walking route that takes you through the museum in two hours. From Monday to Friday, you can only enter the walking park trough the museum entrance next to the Infocenter. Both entrances are open on weekends.

Don't forget your face mask. Face masks are mandatory for everyone from 12 years old in indoor areas (such as toilets). In the open air you can enjoy without a mask, provided that the safety distance of 1.5 meters is respected. Group trips to Bokrijk are currently not possible, you are welcome with your family or with a maximum of 4 adults.

Biking trough the water

In Bokrijk near junction 91 you can cycle and walk through the water. A cycle path has been constructed here that crosses one of the ponds of the Wijers nature reserve. Cyclists ride on a 3 meter wide path with the water at eye level on either side.
