Drawing with models (3)

The Royal Museum of Art and History in Brussels.

In an addition to this year's design studio the students of the international master investigated the Royal Museum for Art and History in Brussels. The assignment with this years title 'drawing with models' focusses on specific intersections in the building. The museum is a collage of different time frames, which come together in various intersections in the building. The students are challenged with capturing these specific qualities through drawings and model making.

The seminar makes connections between the pragmatic findings during production and the reflection on this process from a larger perspective. 'Drawing with models' is characterized by a journey of various tests in order to make connections between the drawings and models on different scales and eventually to achieve an uniform expression of the final section models.
