Seminar Circular Building 2019-2020
Experimenting with bio-regenerative materials
Master students in architecture and interior architecture experiment with bio-regenerative materials
The students get an introduction on 4 bio-regenerative materials (earth, lime hemp, mycelium and willow branches) through 1-day workshops and after that, they start exploring the opportunities of these materials through experiments. This results in a wide range of objects of which a selection is exposed at Batibouw 2020, on the stand of Pixii and Vibe.
Also the stand, which in itself is a fully circular construction, has been developed by the students and their teachers, in close collaboration with Pixii, Vibe and Woodinc.
