UGES has been using NWEA's Measurement of Academic Progress (MAP) for several years with all students in our district. The information that is gathered from these assessments is used for instruction of students at all levels, including those who need Interventions and those in need of Extra Challenges.
Here's all the information and more to help us move to web-based MAP testing:
MAP Test Windows for 2019-2020
Fall: September 26 -- October 7
Winter:
Spring: May 8 -- May 19
NWEA MAP PROCTORING TRAINING
Step 1: Watch Map Introduction (5 minutes)
Step 2: Watch Testing in a Web-Based Environment (4 minutes)
Step 3: Watch Proctor Quick Start AND do the practice at the end. (9+ minutes)
Step 4: Watch Proctor Tools (both setting up a test and interrupting a test) (13 minutes)
Step 5: Watch Proctor Tools (Intermediate) (about 13 minutes)
Step 6: Sign into NWEA and set up first testing session for your students.
Username: Your email address
Password: Use the temporary one sent to you by NWEA and change it to make it your own.
