Ontario's public colleges offer:
One-year certificate programs
Two- and three-year diploma programs
Four-year degree programs
Graduate certificate programs
Apprenticeship and skilled trades training
Flexible learning options, including online and part-time studies (program dependent)
Across Ontario, students can choose from more than 200 areas of study
Admission Requirements
Admission requirements vary by college and program. When exploring your options, make sure you:
Work toward completing your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
Check the required Grade 12 courses for the program you are interested in. Requirements may include C, U, or M level courses.
If you are graduating with Essential-level courses, explore programs that accept these courses and speaking with a Guidance counsellor.
Review prerequisite courses and minimum grade requirements before applying.
Be aware that competitive programs may require higher grades or additional admission requirements.
Plan ahead to make sure you have the courses and experiences you need before applying.
