Cooperative education gives our students the opportunity to explore real life working experiences while earning school credits. Students in Communication, Construction, Design, Manufacturing and Transportation Technologies can chose from a variety of work placements in and around Guelph to complete the required hours to receive either two or four credits. Placements in our Job Bank include: Icon Photography, L Allen Grinham Architects, Barzotti Kitchens, Linamar, and Guelph Toyota to name but a few.
Technology Co-op is the perfect opportunity for a student to try out a career path to see if they wish to peruse it and can lead to apprenticeship, college and university.
Co-operative education provides students with an opportunity to achieve some of their credits while also gaining work experience. If students choose co-operative education it will count for two (2) credits.
