At the beginning of the semester, I set a plan for myself to help manage myself and deal with the work load coming my way and I was able to follow the plan. The first plan was to write down my 5 goals for the semester and I was able to reach at least four of them with the helps of my family. Secondly, I planned on going for a jog to refresh my mind at least 3 times a week and I did that. Thirdly, I planned a schedule that I will follow for the rest of the semester, more like a routine but I was only able to follow that routine for the first month only. Since adapting to change might cause stress, I also planned on meditating at least 2 times a week and sometimes play with swing at the park since it is not far from my place, I was able to do all that.
Planning my self-management plan helped me a lot because I was able to deal with everything with an open mind and adapt to change easier than I thought. It also helped lessen my stress and be able to do my work during the required time frame, I procrastinated less and I am still fighting procrastination. I am always anxious when I am around people, I would also feel like they are staring at me until I mediated I can now handle a large number of people.
