This professor has a lot of papers involving variational methods. Currently, He is working in problems where the energy functional is not C1, and also in problems involving the existence of normalized solutions. Moreover, He has some papers involving the heat equations with quasilinear operators.

Didier Pilod

Graduated in Mathematics from Universite D'Orsay (1998) and Masters science in Mathematics from Universite D'Orsay (1999), Ph.D. in Mathematics from National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathmatics (2006) and post-doctorate from the University of Chicago (2011 -2012). He worked at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro from 2007 to 2016. Currently he is researcher at University of Bergen in Norway. He has experience in Mathematics, with an emphasis on Partial Differential Equations, working mainly on the following topics: non-linear evolution equations, non-linear dispersive equations, existence of solutions, good placement and stability.

Felipe Linares

Graduated in mathematics (1985) from Central University of Venezuela and Ph.D in 1992 from Pennsylvania State University, in the United States. At the Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences (MSRI), located in the United States, he carried out a postdoctoral internship (1997). He has been Visiting Professor at Louisiana State University (USA), State University of Campinas (Unicamp), University of Texas at Austin (USA), University of California at Santa Barbara (USA), University of Oklahoma (USA), University of the Chile, at the Park City Mathematical Institute (USA) and at the University of Paris-SUD (France). In 2009 and 2010, two of the theses he supervised received awards: the Professor Carlos Teobaldo Gutierrez Vidalon Award for theses and the CAPES Award for theses, respectively. He is a reviewer and is part of the editorial board of several journals around the world. Worked on projects with the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), the Research Support Foundation of the State of São Paulo (Fapesp) and with the Carlos Chagas Filho Research Support Foundation of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Faperj). He works mainly on the following topics: Nonlinear Dispersive Equations, Cauchy Problems and Korteweg-de Vries Equation.

Isaías Pereira de Jesus

Graduated in Full Licentiate in Mathematics from the Federal University of Piauí (1998), Master in Mathematics from the Federal University of Ceará (2001), PhD in Mathematics from the Federal University of Ceará (2012) and Post-Doctorate in Mathematics from the Federal University of Pernambuco. (2018). He received a Research Productivity Scholarship from the Federal University of Piauí (2018-2020). He is currently Associate Professor 1-DE at the Federal University of Piauí and a CNPq Level 2 Productivity Scholar. His research interests are control problems of phenomena modeled by Partial Differential Equations, in particular, controllability of parabolic and hyperbolic systems with a reduced number of controls.

Juan Límaco

Graduated in Mathematics - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (1985), Masters in Mathematics - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (1989) and PhD in Mathematics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1993). He is currently a full professor and Vice-Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at Universidade Federal Fluminense. Has experience in Mathematics, with emphasis on Partial Differential Equations, and Control Theory, has supervised 11 Master's students and 5 Doctoral students, and is Leader of the Research Group on EDP Control at IME-UFF.

Luiz Gustavo Farah

Graduated in Mathematics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2002), Master in Mathematical Economics from the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (2004), Ph.D. in Mathematics from the National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (2008), post-doctorate from the University State of Campinas (2008-2009), post-doctorate from the University of California - Santa Barbara (2009-2010) and post-doctorate from the George Washington University (2016-2017). He currently works as an associate professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the area of dispersive partial differential equations, working mainly on issues related to existence, blow-up and asymptotic behavior of solutions.

Luciano Cipriano

Márcia Federson

Professor Márcia Federson is an expert on non-absolute integration and its applications to differential and integral equations. In her recent book, published in 2021 and coauthored by many of her ex PhD students, the theory of generalized ODEs in abstract spaces is developed and sistemized is a comprehensive text. Totay, her interests lie on applications of these theories to Physics.

Graduated in Mathematics from the Federal University of Piauí (1975), Master's in Mathematics from the University of Brasília (1979); PhD in Mathematics from the Mathematics Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1987), and Post-Doctoral internship at IMPA (1990). Retired Titular Professor at the Federal Universities of Paraíba and Piauí. Marko A. Rojas-Medar is currently Professor at the Tarapacá University (UTA, Chile). He also was Professor at the Bío-Bío University (UBB, Chile) and Campinas State University (UNICAMP, Brazil). Undergraduate in Mathematics at La Serena University (1986), Master in Applied Mathematics at UNICAMP (1988), Ph.D. in Mathematics at UNICAMP (1991) (under the supervision of Professor José Luiz Boldrini) and post-doctorate at Sevilla University (Spain). Norman Noguera

Norman Noguera is from Costa Rica. He earned his Master's degree in Mathematics from the Universidad de Puerto Rico in 2013 and earned his PhD degree in Mathematics from the State University of Campinas in 2020. Currently, Noguera is a professor at the Universidad de Costa Rica. He has experience in Mathematics, with emphasis on Partial Differential Equations, particularly in the study of aspects in the dynamics of systems of nonlinear Schrödinger equations.
