I teach environmental education courses at the University of Florida. I have taught environment and sustainability courses for undergraduate and graduate students at Cornell University, graduate students at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and for global audiences, providing high-quality and equitable learning opportunities for students, educators and other professionals from around the world. My teaching philosophy revolves around encouraging critical thinking, community-engaged learning, and project-based learning to connect theories to practice in solving real-world issues. I continue using these approaches and incorporate technology to engage students and to foster active learning.
