What is the Washington County Youth Fair (WCYF)?
The Youth Fair started in 1973 to showcase the talents of local students, to give 4-H and FFA members a venue to show and sell their livestock project. The tradition continues today with the event organized by UF/IFAS Extension Washington County agents, staff, and volunteer.
With generous support from our community, exhibits are judged using the modified Danish system, and youth are awarded premium money based on the ribbons they earn.
