I am also pursuing a Spanish minor, and I have taken courses like Spanish for Healthcare Professionals and Spanish Translation and Interpretation to prepare for my future career as a physician. Aside from research, I am involved with UF Chemistry Club's Outreach program, where I lead local elementary school classes through interactive science experiments. I also serve as treasurer of Trail Gaiters, a newly established hiking club at the University of Florida.
