Our DII group decided to have a summer service project to allow them to get together and help their community and spend time together.

For: DII Teens or Pre-Teens

· Location and times:

§ 10-12:30 Meet at Conservation Park 100 Conservation Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32413 bring your own lunch.

§ 1:00 – 5:00 Gulf World Marine Park

Registration: through 4HOnline, events ““DII Summer Service Day”

Cost: Admission ticket to Gulf World ~$40 and personal spending money. Since we had very few of youth able to commit to the event we could not lock down a group rate. Things to bring: You will want to wear closed toed shoes to conservation park and wear clothes to work in, you will also need to bring your lunch. We will eat at conservation park before leaving for gulf world marine park. We will not be able to take food into the marine park.

You may want to bring a change of clothes/shoes for Gulf World. Other things you might want include a towel, sunscreen, cooling neck wrap or beverages to drink while at conservation park. If you have a basic tool kit hammer, screw drivers etc. you may wish to bring that as well, make sure your name is on the equipment. We will also have some you can borrow.
