As part of the 13th ICMMEDC, an optional one-day excursion will be organized for participants to explore the cultural and natural heritage of Luang Prabang. The excursion offers a wonderful opportunity to discover the beauty of northern Laos, interact with fellow participants, and enjoy a relaxing day after the conference sessions.
Kuang Si Waterfall
The famous Kuang Si Waterfall is known for its stunning turquoise pools and lush tropical surroundings. Participants can walk along forest trails and enjoy one of the most beautiful natural sites in Laos.
Royal Palace Museum
The Royal Palace Museum was once the residence of the Lao royal family. Today it houses important historical and cultural artifacts reflecting the rich heritage of Laos.
Mount Phousi
At the end of the day, participants will climb Mount Phousi to enjoy a spectacular sunset view overlooking the city and the Mekong River.
