The Roman Forum was the center of ancient Rome and has lots of old ruins. You can see temples and other important buildings there. The forum is very close to the colosseum and is the center of Roman life. Shops, offices, and monuments lined the square. Many people used the forum to make speeches and crowds of people would come listen. 

Ancient Rome was a place where people had special buildings just for taking baths. These buildings were called bath houses. Bath houses were not only for bathing, but also for socializing and reading. They were very important in ancient Roman culture. Most Roman cities had at least one bath house. Some wealthy people even had bath houses in their own homes.

In ancient Rome, men and women did not bathe together. They had separate times to go to the bath house. Women would go in the morning and men would go in the afternoon. The bath house fee for women was twice as much as the fee for men.

The bath houses in ancient Rome were very big and fancy. Some of them had libraries and gyms. They even had special rooms for men and women. The bath houses were decorated very nicely. People would spend a lot of time at the bath house, sometimes for hours. It was a special place where people could relax and have fun.
