I am from Fortaleza, Brazil. I took my graduation (2022) and master's (2004) in Computer Science at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and my PhD at Imperial College London (2011), being supervised by Professor Jeff Kramer and Sebastian Uchitel. I have already worked as a software developer, system analyst, and project manager.
Since 2013, I am an associate professor at UECE, where I teach and research software engineering topics. I have been collaborating with the academic community by serving as a reviewer and program committee member of national and international conferences and journals, such as TOSEM, ASE, JSS, JSEP, SEAMS, SESoS, among others.
I also have collaborations with different universities, such as UFC, UNIFOR, UFRGS and The Open University.
Teaching courses: Software Engineering and AI, SoftwareArchitecture, Design Patterns, Object-oriented Programming, Model-driven Engineering
Currently supervising 4 PhD students and 2 master students
From 2015 to 2017: Vice-coordinator of the Bachelor in Computer Science (UECE)
Since 2014: supervised 1 post-doc, 22 master dissertations and more than 50 undergraduate students
Since 2016: coordinator of research, development and innovation projects funded by government and private companies
