Congratulations! Your child has been invited to AUDITION for the 32nd annual
Upper Dublin Honors String Orchestra. This orchestra will consist of selected students, grades four through eight, who demonstrate above average playing skills, a good work ethic and the desire for a more challenging orchestral experience. In that there are many qualified students and limited stage facilities, participation must be determined by audition only.
Auditions will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 6:00-8:00 pm at Sandy Run Middle School. Specific details concerning this audition process will follow. The audition music will be distributed upon receiving your signed letter of intent via the form(link below). It is expected of all honors orchestra students to commit to all rehearsals and performances as listed below, as well as practice their music at home and/or with a private teacher.

All November, January, and February rehearsals will occur in the orchestra classroom at SRMS as well as on stage in SRMS. Drop off/pick up will be at the SRMS Main entrance.
All honors orchestra students are required to attend all rehearsals and concerts—unless a compelling excuse exists, such as illness or emergency—of which you will notify one of the directors by email.
