Youth Wellness & Fitness Curriculum Volunteer Site


Thank you for volunteering with the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension to evaluate our new Youth Wellness and Fitness Curriculum.

Please follow along with the steps 1-3 below.

Completion of steps 1-3 will result in a certificate of achievement and 5 volunteer hours.

More volunteer hours can be accomplished by following the "Additional Volunteer Hours Tab".

Step 1: Review and Evaluate Session 1

  • You will need emailed handout titled "Wellness Wheel Activity", a piece of blank paper, and a writing utensil

  • Please view: Recorded Youth Fitness & Wellness Curriculum Session 1

  • While viewing imagine you are taking the session live by pausing to create any goals or reflect on your habits when prompted.

  • Please evaluate the session: Evaluation Survey Session 1

  • Implement the goal you set during the session, check out resources referenced below, and wait about a week before proceeding to Step 2

  • Check on resources for session 1 listed on "Resources" page


Step 2: Review and Evaluate Session 2

  • You will need emailed handout titled "Wellness Wheel Activity", and "Physical Wellness Recall", a piece of blank paper, and a writing utensil

  • Please view: Recorded Youth Fitness & Wellness Curriculum Session 2

  • While viewing imagine you are taking the session live by pausing to create any goals or reflect on your habits when prompted.

  • Please evaluate the session: Evaluation Survey Session 2

  • Implement any new goals you set during the session, continue implementing your goal from Session 1, check out any resources from session 2 on the resource page, and wait about a week before proceeding to Step 3

Step 3: Review and Evaluate Session 3

  • You will need a piece of blank paper, and a writing utensil (for notes)

  • Please view: Recorded Youth Fitness & Wellness Curriculum Session 3

  • While viewing imagine you are taking the session live by pausing to create any goals or reflect on your habits when prompted.

  • Please evaluate the session: Evaluation Survey Session 3

  • View one of the Career Testimonials from the Resources from Session 3 linked on the next page

  • Implement any new goals you set during the session, continue implementing your goal(s) from Sessions 1 & 2.
