I have worked with undergraduate and high-school students on research projects in both mathematics and data science. Two projects that began during the StemForAll 2026 summer workshop are continuing during the 2026–2027 academic year.
StemForAll is a research program for undergraduate and advanced high-school students in the Rochester area. During the two-week workshop in Summer 2026, I served as an instructor and project supervisor for two groups.
Fourier Ratio and Graph Recovery
The group studied Fourier-analytic approaches to recovering a graph from partial information. The students presented their work at the end of the summer workshop, and we are continuing to develop the project during the 2026–2027 academic year. We are currently working toward a research paper based on this work.
Sales Modeling
Together with Gabe Hart and Alex Iosevich, I supervised the Sales Modeling group. The project studies sales forecasting and inventory optimization using neural-network models and economic indicators. At the end of the workshop, the students presented the work they had completed during the program. A smaller group is continuing the project during the 2026–2027 academic year.
