Vishal Gupta

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Rochester mentored by Dr. Alex Iosevich.

My research lies at the intersection of spectral graph theory, extremal combinatorics, and Fourier analysis. I study how eigenvalues and Fourier structure encode properties of graphs, with applications to extremal problems, graph recovery, and additive combinatorics.

I received my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Delaware under the guidance of Dr. Sebastian Cioaba. Here is my CV.
