This spring I completed an internship abroad at the Commonwealth Magistrates' and Judges' Association in London, England. This is a member association supporting judicial officers throughout the Commonwealth of Nations, dedicated to advancing the administration of law through promoting judicial independence, education in the law, the administration of justice, and treatment of offenders. My time here allowed me to expand my knowledge and gain valuable insight into judicial processes, as well as how to ensure fair and impartial justice for all. This presentation is a culmination of what I have learned and key takeaways that I would like to apply to our American justice system.
