Personal info
Hello! My name is Li-An, pronounced like Lee-Ann when the conversation is in English. I was born in Taichung City, Taiwan, and grew up in Hualien, Osaka (Japan), Taoyuan, and Taipei. I discovered my passion for mathematics late-- in the last year of my undergraduate studies in NTU, after attending various courses from ten departments and lab experiences in hydraulics and river morphology. My native language is Mandarin/Traditional Chinese. I also use basic Taiwanese, and I am fluent in Japanese comprehension (passed JLPT N1). In my free time, I enjoy reading mysteries, playing GeoGuessr, board games and card games. I am a proud alumna of NTU Judo Team and NYCU Judo Club, and I have a black belt in judo. I am currently practicing with Boise State Judo Club!
