Performance-Sensitive Potential Functions for Efficient Flow of Connected and Automated Vehicles
On this website, we have included useful material to enhance the comprehension of our paper titled "Performance-Sensitive Potential Functions for Efficient Flow of Connected and Automated Vehicles". The site is organized in 3 pages.
On the first page (Old potential function), we briefly discuss the technical gap that our study focuses on, as identified in our proposed research effort [2]. More specifically, we highlight the weak points identified in [1], along with the associated potential function used.
On the second page (Influence of the parameters), we present a dynamic visualization that illustrates the influence of the parameters r, p, and α on the shape of the new parameterized potential function.
On the third page (Neural Network result), we present the performance figure that we exported after training our neural network.
On the fourth page (Video Simulations), we provide video simulations while dynamically presenting the inter-vehicle distances of the vehicles. These simulations offer a practical perspective and enable viewers to observe the dynamics of inter-vehicle spacing in real-time. By incorporating these videos, we aim to enhance the accessibility and clarity of our research findings, providing an intuitive and comprehensive understanding of the concepts discussed in our paper.
