This is the time of the year when we invite poster submissions for our annual ECE Research Day. The Poster Session showcases the scientific and social impact our research and design projects to the wider community. We are requesting your poster contributions in the following focus areas:
Computer Engineering and Networks
Nanoelectronics, Electromagnetics and Photonics
Signal Processing, Communications and Controls
Undergraduate Research and VIP Projects
Capstone Senior Design Projects
As every year, best posters in each of the above categories will be recognized. We request that you first submit your poster title by April 15 using this Google Form.
Following acknowledgement of the submitted information, the camera-ready posters will be due by the submission deadline below. The posters can use the templates provided below and will be submitted using a separate Google form.
We will print and collect all posters received by the deadline below, verify them for proper format, etc. In case of any issues, we will contact the authors for corrections.
Once the posters are printed, we will email all authors to collect their posters. We will notify the authors to help us place them for Research Day (the exact date/time will be communicated to the authors).

Final Poster Submission Deadline: April 30, 2025 (11:59PM ET) submitted online (in Powerpoint or PDF format, using this Google Form).
Place the Poster: Tuesday, May 06, 2025 Afternoon: Once the posters are printed, authors will be notified to collect their printed posters and place them in the Evans Hall Walls.

The posters will be printed on 36" (height) x 48" (width) sheets. Please make sure you use one of these templates for sizing. otherwise posters may not get printed accurately.
All the five poster sessions are judged separately by expert panel of judges selected from those specific areas. The posters are broadly judged on the Technical Content (60% of points) and Presentation Skills (40%). The judges will visit the poster in random order, either individually or in groups, where students will present their work (around 5 minutes/poster), followed by specific questions from the judges. The time spent per poster can vary based on the discretion of the judging panel.
