Heinz is from Fairfield, Connecticut. She played rugby for eight years and served as President of the Women's Rugby team from 2023 to 2024. As a forward, she primarily played Flanker during her time with UD Women's Rugby. Heinz graduated from the University of Delaware with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology

Mercury is from Queens, New York. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a major in Civil Engineering and minors in Architectural Studies and Mathematics. From 2023-2024, Mercury served as Vice President of the UD Women's Rugby team and played as a back—primarily at fullback and center.
