What does it take to become a brother of Alpha Chi Sigma?
Eligibility
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Taking or have previously taken at least 1 college level chemistry course
Take note: There's no major requirement! Any major can join Alpha Chi Sigma
Initiation Process
Initiation is a 6 week process.
During that time you will:
Complete Training-
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Training
Learn about the Fraternity and Take Weekly Quizzes-
All the information is provided in the Pledge Book
Online quizzes
Study guides provided
Not chemistry quizzes! Just info on the fraternity and it's history
Attend Pledge Nights-
Weekly events to study together and interact with each other
Pay Pledge Fees-
Pledging Fee: $95
Lifetime Membership Fee: $285
Total: $380
Note: There are no additional membership fees to the national office while a colligate member.
Any further dues are toward the local chapter and go directly toward chapter events.
