Research Center for Integrated Transportation Innovation (rCITI) is pleased to host the 5th Symposium on Infrastructure Asset Management, at University of New South Wales. The International Symposium on Infrastructure Asset Management is biennial event organized for a small group of researchers, focused on the development of methods and processes to be used in the management of infrastructure, to present and discuss their most advanced ideas. Any type of infrastructure is of interest.
Participation is by invitation only and the presentations are intended to seed discussion and interaction.
All topics related to methods and processes that can be used in the management of infrastructure, including those to determine optimal monitoring and intervention strategies and programs. Some examples are 1) methods to improve the modelling of deterioration or changes in what is expected of infrastructure, 2) improved ways to conduct parts of the infrastructure management process, such as risk assessment or the development of intervention programs, and 3) the role of contractual agreements in the effectiveness of the management of infrastructure
