We are thrilled to introduce a special plenary session at this year’s Teaching & Learning Conference—a unique faculty development experience designed to inspire and provide fresh perspectives for enriching teaching practices. Join us as we embrace this opportunity to be motivated and reflect on the transformative power of Teaching & Learning at UD.
This year’s plenary event, The Mandela Architecture, is an immersive learning method grounded in Neuro-Dramatic Learning, pioneered by Dr. Jacob Moreno. This approach underscores that holistic learning is most effective when it engages the mind, body, and spirit through metaphor and active participation.
Nelson Mandela’s journey began with his “Blueprint of Self,” pushing himself to transform from a reactive leader into an inspiring, responsive figure. He expanded this growth by fostering creative and empowering environments, using transformative communication, and developing a blueprint for long-term excellence to uplift his people. Through Leadership Masters' compelling live theater performance, participants will explore how Mandela cultivated extraordinary, sustainable change.
The session features four engaging theatrical scenes, each paired with focused work sessions: The Blueprint of Self, The Blueprint of Environment, The Blueprint of Communication, and The Blueprint of Sustained Excellence. Attendees will leave with actionable insights to apply in their own teaching environments.
Don’t miss out on this powerful experience.
