Assistant Professor of Economics, University of Dallas
Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Dallas, a Catholic liberal arts university in Irving, Texas. I am an applied microeconomist trained in Labor and Public economics. I received my PhD in 2023 from the University of Maryland - College Park.
My work spans topics including immigration, demography, family policy, and low-income housing. The electives I teach include Labor Economics, the Economics of the Family, and Environmental and Energy Economics. My research and teaching agenda are motivated by Catholic social teaching, and thus are unified by a focus on how policy affects access to economic opportunity and human flourishing, particularly for people who face barriers to them.
