Rules

Access:

Students should have received a personal room access code for CSE 3219. If you don't know the code, please talk to the class instructor(s). For more detail about lab access, please refer to this page.

CSE building access might not be available if you are not affiliated with CSE department. If you need non-working hour access, please talk to the class instructor(s).

WiFi:

We have dedicated WiFi (non-enterprise level) instrumented in the lab. You may need this network for Quest 2, voice assistant, mobile development and possibly other class project. PLEASE ONLY USE THIS WIFI FOR YOUR CLASS WORK, INSTEAD OF PERSONAL USES. PLEASE ALSO DO NOT SHARE WIFI CREDENTIALS PUBLICITY. And finally, PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG THE ROUTER.

Others:

While you are using the lab resources, please kindly follow the following rules. This would be tremendous favor for us to efficiently manage and organize the equipments.

• The lab space might be shared among multiple classes. While you are welcome to use the lab 24/7 whenever you are free, please DO NOT enter the room if there is an on-going class session. You could refer to the class schedule in this calendar.

• Please DO NOT take the device outside of the lab, unless they are permitted by your instructors. Some devices might be shared among multiple classes.

• You may need battery for Quest 2 controllers. If your battery is out of charge, feel free to take one from the locker #22 (it is always open). However, please put the wasted battery in the white box, and DO NOT drop them into trash can. We will be recycling them together at the end of the class.

• After using locker box, ALWAYS keep it closed and locked. We track the devices, and you don't want to let other students take the devices that are assigned to you.

• After using the lab, please log out of your machine, lock the door and close the light (if you are the last person) before leaving.

• Finally, please take care of our shared lab space, do not eat in the lab, and take all the trash when you leave.
