Revelle College, the first college at UC San Diego, was founded in the early 1960's with the academic goal of educating undergraduates with a breadth of knowledge from all fundamental disciplines: literature, art, science and social issues that define our culture. The College has continued this vision through the Humanities Writing Sequence where students interact with history, philosophy, and literature through a critical lens.
